How Evo Navigator works
Evo Navigator connects to all the systems your organisation uses - both Access products and approved third-party software — and pulls everything into a single, personalised view. You do not need to know which system holds which information. Navigator handles that for you.
When you open Evo, Navigator is already there. It knows who you are, what systems your business runs on, and what needs your attention today.
Your personalised view
Navigator surfaces information based on your role and working patterns. What you see is specific to you — your tasks, your priorities, your communications. Users in different roles see different things, and your existing system permissions are always respected.
You can also personalise your own experience. You choose which Quick Actions appear in your tile row, which Quick Panels are visible, and which tools appear as Quick Sections. These preferences are saved automatically and do not require any IT involvement to set up or change.
Acting without switching
The key principle behind Navigator is that you act from it — you do not navigate away from it. Most tasks can be completed directly within Navigator, in the panel that opens when you click an item. Once a task is done, it disappears from your list automatically.
This means you stay in one place throughout your working day. You are not opening a system, completing a task, closing it, opening another, and trying to remember where you were. Your day comes to you.
How each part works together
Ask Navigator
The Ask Navigator bar at the top of the screen lets you ask questions in plain language. Navigator searches across your connected systems and returns a visual, interactive answer — a chart, a table, a booking interface — based on your data. You can ask follow-up questions within the same session and Navigator remembers the context, so you do not need to repeat yourself.
Quick Actions
Quick Actions are one-click shortcuts to the tasks you do most often. They are drawn from across your connected products and surfaced in a tile row at the top of Navigator. You choose which actions are pinned to your row. Any action not in your tile row can be found using the search bar inside the Quick Actions area, or through Evo's global search bar.
Actions Required
Actions Required is an AI-prioritised task list that pulls together everything needing your attention from across your systems. Items are ranked by urgency. When you complete an item, it disappears from the list. Nothing gets missed because everything is in one place.
Quick Panels
Quick Panels are slide-out information streams — your Feed notifications, Tasks, and Comms — that you can open from anywhere in Evo without leaving what you are doing. The panel slides open over your current screen. When you close it, your main screen is unchanged.
Quick Sections
Quick Sections are dedicated areas within Navigator where a single tool is displayed in full, giving it more screen space than a side panel. They sit permanently in Navigator so your most-used tools are always a click away. You choose which tools appear as sections.
What happens if a connected system is unavailable?
⚠️Note: Technical details about system availability and connectivity are currently being confirmed with the engineering team. This article will be updated once that information is available.
