Post to a community

Post to a community in the Social Feed app.

When you create posts in the Social Feed app, you can either make them visible to everyone or post to a community.

Posting to a community means that the post is only visible to people who are in that community however, the post still appears in search results for people who aren't in the specified community.

Note: You need to set up your communities before you can follow the steps below.

Post to a community

  1. In the Share what's on your mind field, enter your post.

  2. Click Everyone then select Community.

  3. Select the relevant community then click Post.

Which communities can I post to?

User

As a standard user, you can post to any community that you're part of.

Administrator

As an Access Loop administrator, you can post to any community. To post to a community that you're not part of, within the Community Selector, click All Communities then select the relevant community.

Note: If you post to a community you're not part of, your post doesn't appear on your social feed. To view your post, you need to search for it.
