Manage member hierarchy

In this article, we explain how to view member hierarchy, assign a reportee or manager, and troubleshoot visibility issues when assigning managers.

Maintaining an accurate member hierarchy is essential for clear reporting lines and effective team management. In Access Evo, to set up your organisational chart, you can assign reportees and managers to your members.

View hierarchy

To view the current member hierarchy, follow the steps:

  1. Click the Members image.png icon.

  2. Click on the member you want to view.

  3. Click the Show member in hierarchy view image.png icon.


Assign a reportee or manager

To assign a reportee or manager to a member, follow the steps:

⚠️ Important: To follow these steps, you need Administrator permissions.

  1. Click the Members image.png icon.

  2. Find the relevant member and click the three-dot menu on their member card.

  3. Choose Assign to a Manager or Assign to a Reportee, as required.

  4. Select the appropriate person from the list, then click Assign.

  5. Click Confirm.


Assign to a manager option isn't visible

If the option to assign a manager isn’t visible, you need to enable the Allow all users to view hierarchy setting.

Follow the steps to enable this:

⚠️ Important: To follow these steps, you need Administrator permissions.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.

  2. Click Organisation Settings.

  3. Click Member Options.

  4. Under Members Visibility, select the Allow all users to view hierarchy checkbox.

  5. Scroll down and click Save Changes.
