We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of Analytics 1.42.
This version introduces enhancements to Quick Actions functionality, allowing users to add tags and delete multiple objects at once. Additional fixes and security improvements are included to maintain product reliability and security.
What's new?
NEW: Quick Actions applied for Data Views, Insights, Dashboards: Add Tags and Delete
Add Tags to multiple objects at once
When selecting multiple objects, Quick Actions become active and the dropdown will show available actions.
Adding tags to multiple objects follows the same flow as adding tags to a single object. Any existing tag can be searched and assigned to selected content. New tags can be created and assigned to the previously selected objects.
Adding Tags action is only available for objects where the user has Edit permission. Otherwise, the objects cannot be selected and a tooltip message will display indicating that permissions are required. Even when selecting all objects, only those for which the user has edit permission will show as selected.
Deleting multiple objects at once Similar to adding tags, Analytics content can be cleaned up easily by selecting unwanted objects and deleting them in bulk.
The Delete action is only available for objects where the user has Edit permission.
Otherwise, the objects cannot be selected and a tooltip message will display indicating that permissions are required. Even when selecting all objects, only those for which the user has edit permission will show as selected.
When attempting to delete one or more data views, the user is warned that this action will affect all Insights created using the data, as they will be deleted as well. The delete action cascades to all related objects.
For Insights, a warning will be also added to make users aware of the impact on Dashboard content.
Note: The delete action cannot be undone.
NEW: Chart Insights - Evo Colour Scheme
A new colour palette was added as default to Analytics Chart Insights. This new colour scheme will be applied across all Product Suites offered by Access.
New chart insights will have the new colours applied by default, while existent insights will need to upgrade to the latest version to have them applied.
All existent conditional formatting rules and colour customizations made to the objects will remain unaffected by upgrading to the new colours.
The new colour scheme is aimed at increasing accessibility compliance and provide a vivid visual experience for viewing data.
