We are pleased to announce the release of the latest version of Analytics 1.43.

This version introduces new functionality for defining Security Rules. Quick Actions apply now to Insights and Dashboards descriptions.

Performance improvements have been made to Insights and Dashboards endpoint response times, along with enhancements to the Data Views as Standard Content experience.

Additional fixes and security items are included to maintain product reliability and security.

New: Advanced Security Rules defined at Data View level

The Simple Security Rules option retains all existing functionality for defining Security Rules:

Security Email, Security Attributes, and Security Data View—which use simple logic and apply only the 'AND' operator between conditions.

Advanced Security Rules address the need for a multi-dimensional data permission model for users in the organization. These complex security rules contain multiple conditions and fields, connected by both 'AND' and 'OR' operators.

When Advanced Security Rule creation is selected, a new modal opens that guides through all the steps and provides explanations for creating the intended permission rule for the data view.

After security rules are created, the permission model applied at the Data View level persists for all users in any Insight and Dashboard created, as well as when viewing and querying the Data View where the Security Rule was created.

New: Quick Actions – Add descriptions to multiple Insights or Dashboards

As part of the Quick Actions range, descriptions for multiple Insights or Dashboards can now be added or updated simultaneously. This works identically to the functionality for Data Views.

Selecting the Insights or Dashboards requiring updates opens the modal where each object has its own description field. After descriptions are filled in and saved, they are updated in Settings.
