We are pleased to announce a new release of Analytics – version 1.50.
This release introduces a long-awaited feature — Cascading Filters — alongside a number of quality-of-life enhancements. As always, additional customer-requested improvements and resolved security notifications are included to maintain product reliability.
New: Cascading Filters
Cascading filters can now be enabled on any filter panel across Analytics — List Views, Insights, and Dashboards.
When a filter value is selected, the remaining filter values will automatically narrow down based on that selection. The relationship between selected filter values is of type AND, meaning the values displayed will need to meet all applied filter criteria.
Cascading filters are not enabled by default. To activate them, select the layered filter icon, located next to the standard filter icon:
New: Calculate by Editor – Pattern Format type for Negative values
To allow greater control over how negative values are presented, a format type has been added as a Pattern detail for each Calculate By field.
Update: Analytics Widgets – Classic and Enhanced Instances
Analytics Insight and Dashboard Apps continue to be available with both instance types, now relabelled for clarity:
· Classic – existing instances; no further enhancements will be made to these.
· Enhanced – new instances; all new functionality and features will be delivered here.
We strongly recommend migrating to the Enhanced instances to take advantage of the latest functionality and integrations.
