What's changing
Invitations sent to members of your organisation will be automatically deleted 30 days after they were created or last updated, if they haven't been accepted.
This applies to invitations with a status of pending or expired.
Why we're making this change
Previously, invitation records were kept indefinitely, and admins could see the full history of every invitation ever sent. Going forward, we're deleting old invitation records as a security measure.
What this means for you
Invitations older than 30 days will be permanently deleted. Once an invitation record is deleted, there will be no trace of it left; it cannot be recovered.
Recent invitations are unaffected. Any invitation created or updated within the last 30 days will remain visible as normal.
Resending an invitation still works the same way. When you resend an invitation, the original is marked as "expired" (rather than deleted immediately). This keeps a short-term record available in case you need to refer back to it. That expired record will then be deleted 30 days after it was created or last updated, in line with the same rule.
What you need to do
Nothing: this runs automatically as part of routine system maintenance. However, if you rely on invitation history for reporting, auditing, or troubleshooting, we'd recommend exporting or recording any invitation details you need before the 30-day window closes.
Summary
