Evo Whiteboard is a collaborative visual planning tool built into the Access Evo platform. It provides an infinite canvas for brainstorming, process mapping and project planning, with real-time collaboration features that allow multiple users to work simultaneously on the same board.

The canvas supports a range of element types including sticky notes, text boxes, shapes, connectors, freehand drawing and frames. Elements can be selected, moved, resized, grouped and connected, supporting both structured process mapping and freeform ideation. Multi-user collaboration is supported with live cursor display and presence indicators showing which users are currently viewing or editing the board.

Evo Whiteboard integrates directly with Evo Tasks, the platform's centralised task management capability. Any canvas element can be converted into an Evo Tasks item in a single action, creating a direct link between planning activity and operational task management. Linked Cards allow live Evo Tasks data to be surfaced on the canvas and refreshed on demand.

AI generation capabilities allow users to create or extend boards using natural language prompts, either through Evo Navigator or directly from within the canvas. Existing elements can be edited using natural language instructions. Backend persistence is provided through Azure Cosmos DB, with real-time collaboration delivered via SignalR.
