The Projects dashboard is the first screen you see when you open Evo Builder. It shows all your existing projects and is where you organise and manage your work.
Projects are grouped across three tabs:
All - every project you have access to.
Favourites - projects you have marked for quick access.
Shared - projects that have been shared with you.
Creating a new project
Select New Project to create a project. A dropdown gives you two options:
Option | When to use |
Guided setup | Walks you through a wizard covering intent, audience, look and feel, and connectors before the project is created. Recommended when starting something new. |
Quick create | Opens a blank project immediately with just a name. Use this when you have a clear idea of what you want to build and want to start straight away. |
For a full explanation of both options, see the Starting a new project article.
Organising projects with folders
Folders let you group related projects together so they are easier to find. To create a folder, use the folder option from the Projects dashboard.
Once a folder exists, move a project into it by opening the action menu on the project card and selecting Move to folder.
Marking projects as favourites
Mark a project as a favourite to pin it to the Favourites tab for quick access. To do this, open the action menu on the project card and select Favourite.
To remove a project from your favourites, open the action menu and select Unfavourite.
Other project actions
From the action menu on any project card, you can also:
Duplicate Creates a copy of the project, including its current state. Useful when you want to try a different direction without affecting your existing work, or when using an existing project as a starting point for something new.
Delete Permanently removes the project. This cannot be undone, so make sure you no longer need the project before deleting it.
⚠️ Important: Deleting a project is permanent. There is no way to recover a deleted project.
Finding your projects
Use the All, Favourites, and Shared tabs to navigate between your projects. Organising projects into folders and marking key ones as favourites makes it easier to find what you need as your list of projects grows.
