When you open Evo Builder, the Projects dashboard shows all your existing projects.
Get started with a new project
To create something new, select New Project. You have two options:
Guided setup
A step-by-step wizard that walks you through your project before building begins. It asks about:
What the application should do and why.
The specific purpose and content.
Who the application is for.
The visual style and layout.
Which connectors to include, based on your Evo environment.
Quick create
Opens a blank project immediately with just a name, so you can start building straight away.
Quick create opens a blank project immediately with just a name. There is no wizard - you start from an empty canvas and begin building by typing your first prompt in the chat interface.
đ¤Tip: Use Quick create when you have a clear idea of what you want to build and do not need the guided setup to shape the project first.
đ Note: You can add connectors to a Quick create project at any time from the Connectors tab in the right-hand panel of your project.
Your first prompt
Once your project is open, the chat interface on the left is where you direct Evo Builder. Type a description of what you want to build and send it. Evo Builder will analyse your request, plan the steps, and generate a live preview in the panel on the right.
The more specific your prompt, the better the result. Include details such as:
What screens or sections you need.
What data or information should appear.
Where specific elements should be positioned.
The tone or style you are aiming for.
đ¤ Tip: Use the Prompt Optimiser (the wand icon in the message box) before sending. It expands and refines your message automatically, adding specific detail to make your instruction clearer. Review the result before sending and adjust as needed.
